Highlight those selling points in your resume.

Your cover letter should focus on just a few skills and accomplishments that are the most relevant to your target job. It should be succinct, include easy to scan bullet points to call out information and should always be customized to the specific job posting you are responding to.

You do not want to wait until your interview to wow them. If your resume does not do it, you wont even get a chance.
