Space on your resume is limited. Often including references (or references available upon request) is a waste of valuable real estate. If the employer wants references, they will ask. Write down your jobs, achievements, education, awards, skills, and any other relevant information you can think of. Look at the job description for clues on what kind of candidate the employer is looking for. What work experiences and skills match that ideal candidate profile? Highlight those selling points in your resume.
Use grammar checker have a friend check your work and proofread several times before hitting send. If you do not mess up in any of these ways, you will be in a good position to smoke your competition. These are some of the most common resume mistakes, and if you do not make them you are already proving yourself to be worth an interview, at least.
